The match didn’t get off to a good start for BCS. Tramore started strong with 3 points on the board before BCS got a score. Ben Sheehan scoring the first 2 points, 1 from play and 1 from free. BCS back line with Niall Hickey, Iarlaith Meagher, Adam Coffey, Keelan Dunne, Sean Og Costin and James Crowley were on top in the first half and stood strong against the Tramore attack. With the help of the BCS supporters Blackwater came back into it with a rocket of a goal from Hugo Quann. It was worked from the back line from Keelan Dunne to Conor Lynch who then laid it off to Hugo Quann. At half time it was 1-3 to 0-7 Tramore being in the lead by one point. At half time there was a change on the team, Conor Lynch going into center forward, Callum Power going into midfield and Ben Sheehan going wing forward.

It was very close in the second half. After 4 unbelievable saves by Josh Kiely in goal just back from injury kept us well in the game, with nothing between the two teams. It was point for point during the second half, BCS winning a lot of frees. Conor Lynch, David O’Farrell, and Ben Sheehan added to BCS’s scoreboard during the second half. After multiple clearance’s by Iarlaith Meagher and two quick goals by Callum Power and Tiernan O’Brien, The Tramore goalkeeper didn’t stand a chance, as Conor Lynch passing the ball onto Oisin Quinn, Oisin laying off a beautiful pass with the left leg laying a beautiful ball into the square withTiernan O’Brien fisting the ball into the back of the net. BCS were now on top with a lead of two points with ten minutes to spare. Unfortunately, it was not the day for us with Tramore scoring two late goals and coming out on top. A lot of effort was put in all season by all players, management, and TY helpers. There was a great turnout with supporters on the day and parents coming down to Carrignore.
