Now that the Leaving Cert results are out, what are the key dates to watch out for next?
Guidance counsellor Donnchadh O Mahony brings us through what dates students need to mark in their calendar for script viewings, offers and appeals.

Students can log on to their Candidate Self Service Portal to see detailed marks or each subject taken.
"They can see what marks they got in each subject that they took," Mr O Mahony explains.
"Not just marks on paper but also in their practicals, their orals, their aurals, and any coursework they might have done as well.

Students can apply to view their Leaving Cert scripts but applicants need to act fast.
"Now, that's only a very short window until 8pm on Wednesday, 30 August to be able to apply to view your scripts," Mr O Mahony explains.
Wednesday, 30 August 2023 at 2pm
CAO offers begin.
"The first round CAO offers come out at 2pm," Mr O Mahony explains. "For any student, it's very, very important to know that, yes, they come out at 2pm but some come out a little bit earlier.
"Some come out a little bit later. Don't be too worried if your friends have theirs and you don't have yours".
Saturday, 2 September - Sunday, 3 September
Leaving Cert scripts which were marked manually will be able to view.
"On Saturday, 2 September, right when Electric Picnic is on, you'll be able to view your scripts," Mr O Mahony explains. "So, there's two sessions in school if your paper wasn't marked online.
Scripts which were marked online will be available to view online also on 2 September.
"And if it was marked online, you'll have about a 24-hour window to view your scripts where you can actually download and print off a PDF and take your time looking at the scripts.
"That starts from 9am 2 September until 9am on 3 September".
Sunday, 3 September - Monday 4 September
Applications to appeal your results must be made through the Candidate Self Service Portal between 10am Sunday, September 3 and 5pm Monday, 4 September.
"Again, a very, very short window there. Students have just over 24 hours to make that application to appeal," Mr O Mahony explains.
The State Examinations Commission Candidate Portal helpline will be available at 1800 111 135 or 1800 111 136 from 9am to 5pm from Friday, 25 August to Monday, 4 September. It is available for queries relating to the Candidate Self Service Portal and the services provided through the portal.
