Last Saturday, our Junior and Senior Rugby teams travelled to the Aviva Stadium to watch the Ireland v Argentina Rugby International match. Earlier in the day the students were given a wonderful opportunity to have a training session at Clontarf Rugby Club who are the current All Ireland champions. Our sincere thanks to Clontarf RFC for placing their coaches and facilities at our disposal. Following the coaching session, the group were provided with a beautiful meal that was kindly sponsored by Mr. Gus O'Hara, a native of Foxford and by Mr. Morgan McAndrew from nearby Ballina. We are extremely grateful for their generosity and a memorable day was had by all.

A very exciting event is taking place in Foxford Sports and Leisure Centre tomorrow, Wednesday 7th November from 9 a.m. - 12 noon. Our Transition Year Enterprise students will attend a special monthly meeting of the local Woodlands BNI chapter which is based in Kiltimagh.
BNI is a business and professional referral organisation that allows only one representative from each profession to join any of its chapters. The sole purpose of every BNI chapter is to generate more business for their members.
Tomorrow, one student from each T.Y. Enterprise group will give a 60 second presentation introducing themselves and their enterprise to the BNI members. This is a wonderful opportunity for the students to pitch their ideas to local entrepreneurs and to gain experience in public speaking. This is the first event of its kind in Foxford and we are looking forward to an exciting morning. All Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend this meeting and their support would be appreciated.
