School Closed due to severe weather warning

Due to the red weather warning forecasted for tomorrow, Bus Eireann has cancelled all school bus services. In the interests of safety Tarbert Comprehensive is CLOSED tomorrow Monday 16th. TCS will re-open on Tuesday 17th as normal.

Paul O'Donnell s off to Brussels as part of Meet Your MEP Programme 2017. Paul has won with his entry the opportunity to see the workings of the EU and meet Sean Kelly MEP. The agenda includes meetings and tours in the European Parliament and the European Commission, free time in Brussels (including the famous Christmas Markets), and the visit to Ghent and Brugge. Well done Paul.

Our Junior Girls Football team played Laurel Hill Secondary of Limerick on Tuesday. It was a very intense game. The girls perform extremely well and althought thr result did not go our way they can be very proud of themselves .

Congratulations to our Girls Junior and Senior Rugby teams who took part in an interschool blitz in Tralee last Tuesday. The Senior team were successful winning their section. Meanwhile the Junior girls show great promise. They were narrowly beaten in the finals by a single try. Well done to all involved and thank you to Ms Houlihan for travelling with the girls on the day.

Congratulations to all the Second Year Girls Who took part in a in School GAA blitz on Wednesday after school. The girls turned out in great numbers despite the poor weather conditions. A big thank you to Ms. Dillon and Mrs. Carrig for organising the event.

TY students have spent Friday afternoons during September learning how to surf in Ballybunion . Theyre not quite ready to take on serious waves yet but theyve made a great start .

LC2 Geography students have completed the river fieldtrip in Killarney over the last number of days. Students will write up a report when they return and will account for 20% of their LC results.
