Hard luck to the boys u16 team who missed out by just 2 aces. And to the u 19 girls team who missed out but fought hard in every game. These girls have represented BCS since first year and are a credit to their clubs and families.

St Colman’s of Fermoy emerged victorious in an exciting Under-15 hurling match against Blackwater Community School, securing a commanding win with a final score of 4 goals and 18 points to 11 points.
The match got off to an intense start, with both teams showing great determination. Blackwater’s Paul Hegarty was a standout performer, contributing five points to his team’s tally. His accurate frees and clever play kept Blackwater in contention throughout the game.
Callum Moore added three points to the scoreboard for Blackwater, while Shane Landers chipped in with two more, showing strong attacking intent. Paul Coughlan rounded off their scoring with one point, but despite their best efforts, Blackwater struggled to match the clinical finishing of their opponents.
Colman’s, led by a well-balanced team effort, took control of the match with precision. Their attack was ruthless, and their defenders stood firm when called upon. The key moments came from a flurry of well-taken goals and a series of points that put the game beyond Blackwater's reach. Despite some strong individual performances from Blackwater, Colman’s demonstrated superior cohesion and skill across all areas of the pitch.
In the end, Colman’s ran out comfortable winners with a scoreline of 4-18 to 0-11, securing a well-deserved victory in this competitive encounter.

Our LCA's organised a St. Carthage's House, Christmas Kindness Appeal, as part of their Leaving Cert Task. Ciabhan O Connell and Ebony Coleman, had an idea to gift the most precious people in our community a present this christmas, they have been busy gathering donations from many generous people who loved the idea and wanted to contribute. The students visited St. Carthage's this morning and were overwhelmed by the warm welcome they received from the 38 wonderful residents and staff, we had music, chats, and exchanging of gifts for each of our friends. It was a beautiful visit, one that expresses the true meaning of Christmas; being kind, sharing Christmas joy & thinking of others.
