Congratulations to our Senior Hockey team who got their season off to a winning start with a 2-1 win over Wilson’s Hospital School. Many thanks to Wilson’s for travelling to Blackrock and for a great game.
European Forum for the Rights of the Child

Congratulations to Prachi Agrawal who recently participated in the European Forum on the Rights of the Child. Prachi was invited to participate in person in Brussels. This year's Forum was titled: “Bringing children to the centre: empowering, protecting and including children”. Prachi was invited to speak about her experience and feedback with an European initiative she took part in last year, the Better Internet for Kids Youth Panel and the BIK+ strategy. Prachi reports that it was a brilliant three day event with speakers from the European Commission, United Nations and UNICEF. Prachi was also interviewed by June Lowery-Kingston, the Directorate-General for Communications, Networks, Content and Technology. We are all very proud of you Prachi!

TY students recently completed the venture activity for the Bronze Gaisce award. They went to Glendalough, stayed the night in the An Oige International Hostel and hiked 25km over 2 days. Well done to all involved.
