Huge congrats to our very own 2nd Year Beth Fallon starring in ‘Louise lives large’series which is airing on RTE 2 on April 3rd @ 4pm and for 8 weeks ( 8 episodes )
Louise cut her hair for the role and donated it to The Little Princess Trust as she plays 'Louise' - a 13 year old girl who had cancer and is now living large. She filmed it over the summer hols 2023 .
We'd love to encourage as many people as possible to watch it on 3rd April. It will be available on RTE player too after it airs but RTE would love people to watch it live on RTE.
Well done Beth on such an achievement!
Holy Family SS Volleyball Senior team have previously found success at both U16 and Senior All Ireland finals the last two years in a row. Now they've have done it again.
Today, they faced Portadown College (Armagh) for the All Ireland Champions Final and they took the title and in doing so secured the hat-trick of three all Ireland titles in a row!
We are all so proud of the dedication and commitment you have shown to your sport. Championship wins are extremely hard fought and only teamwork can make them happen.

Congratulations to staff teacher and rugby coach, Claire Hughes, who was an IRFU Volunteer Recognition Award Nominee for 2023/24.
The awards are an initiative to honour rugby volunteers and the values they uphold across the four provinces.
Ms Hughes has been instrumental in reestablishing the school's rugby teams and the school's links with Newbridge Rugby Club. Leinster Rugby CCRO Sebastian Berti from Newbridge Rugby Club has been a huge support to the team.
