Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
The Student School Support payments for the academic year 2024/2025 can now be paid in advance on our school app in full or in two installments with payment due by 31st August 2024. The Board of Management is extremely grateful for your ongoing support for your child’s educational journey at HFSS. Voluntary secondary schools, such as HFSS, are not fully funded by the Department of Education and Skills and the school support payment is very necessary to make up the shortfall in funding from the government. We could not run the school without your support. Please see the attached for further information.
If your daughter is not returning to HFSS for the next school year. We would ask that you notify the school admissions office at administration@holyfamily.ie
Sincere regards, Sarah Allen
Wishing everyone in our school community a very restful and happy Easter holidays break. In a very special way, we send the very best to our 6th year students who are sitting their Leaving Certificate oral exams in Gaeilge and Modern Foreign Languages over the next few days.
This week in some of our French classes, we marked La Semaine de la Langue française et de la Francophonie, an annual event to celebrate French language & culture all over the world.
Congratulations to the joint winners of our TY French quiz!
Félicitations à Niamh Espinosa, Áine Redican, Amelia Kogut Burkatska, Julia Wisniewska, Lara Holman & Hannah Betts-Symonds!
Students in first year researched and completed les fiches francophones, with some important facts about French-speaking countries.
First years also learned and performed the Cup song en français! Bravo!
Joyeuses Pâques à tout le monde!
