A good work out for our u-16 boys footballers against St. Brendan's Killarney today. All the lads performed well and are building well for the County and Munster Championships.
6th year Ag Science Farm visit

Our 6th Yr Agricultural Science class had a very beneficial practical day on Friday 16th Sept when we were invited to the farm of Donal and Eileen Hayes of Tubrid farm who are the parents of Daniel in 6L.The Hayes farm has won the prestigious Kerry Agribusiness Quality and Sustainability Award of 2022.This is a very exceptional award to win and it is a testament to the standards of quality and hygiene that are being implemented on the farm. The farm walk was excellently presented and proved very educational to the class group with top quality food also provided on the day. Many thanks to the Hayes family for giving our Agricultural Science students this opportunity.

We were delighted to welcome Minister for Education Norma Foley to the school today. Minister Foley congratulated some of our Leaving Certs who received their results today as well as meeting some other students and staff. She was treated to some superb music from our talented students. Well done to everyone involved.

Massive congrats to Zoe Hyde and her rowing partner Sanita Puspure who won a bronze medal at the World Rowing Championships in the Czech Republic this afternoon. A brilliant achievement, well done Zoe!

After an excellent second place finish in the semi-final on Friday, former pupil Zoe Hyde and her rowing partner Sanita Puspure race in the A Final tomorrow in the World Rowing Championships in the Czech Republic. The very best of luck ladies, we're all behind you! The race begins at 12.54pm.
