The Junior 1 team finished the group stages unbeaten after a 1 point win over St.John the Baptist on a bitterly cold day yesterday. The win sees them advance to the Munster quarter final. Well done girls!

Leaving Cert Results

Congratulations to all students who completed their Leaving Cert this year. In the ISK, students did exceptionally well again & we commend each student for their individual efforts. Not only students but families and their teachers from primary onwards also deserve praise .
Just a very brief overview of LC results:
600+ = 7%
500 -599 = 37%
400 - 499 = 35%
We wish all students continued success in the future.

The following information may be helpful as this new school year commences.
Information regarding COVID-19
The Department of Health and the office of the Chief Medical Officer have advised that
there are no new requirements in respect of managing COVID-19.
The key messages are as follows:
Stay at home if you are unwell.
The best way to keep all viruses out of school is to stay at home if you are
unwell and until your symptoms have substantially resolved for 48 hours.
Maintain a good standard of hand hygiene
Adhere to good respiratory etiquette
Ensure good ventilation arrangements
Continue to maintain good levels of cleaning
Mobile Phones

This school acknowledges both the positive and negative effects of mobile phones., therefore we have a simple rule on mobile phones which is:
Phones may only be used under the direction of a teacher, otherwise phones must be turned off and stored in a locker where applicable. Phones will be confiscated and stored in the office until the end of the school day and the student will be sanctioned with a detention if this rule is breached
