Focus Ireland Sleep Out against Homelessness

Hats off to our TYs who organised a sleep out under the stars last Friday night on the school hockey pitch to highlight the plight of the thousands of homeless adults and children in this country. They raised an impressive total of €6,655 euro in the process. Our thanks to all who contributed in any way, particularly the teachers who facilitated the event, SNA Margaret Cronin, Peter’s restaurant and Leaf & Larder Deli and Bakery and of course the students themselves who were fantastic all through - maith sibh!
Parents Association Coffee Morning

The ISK Parents Association are organising a welcome coffee morning for all 1st year parents...it can be hard to meet fellow parents so this is an informal chance to come along and chat. It is in the Well next Wed 25th at 1.30pm - there will be tea, coffee and snacks and mostly a welcome....
Christmas Jumper Day for Saint Vincent de Paul

 There will be a Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 14th December to raise funds for Saint Vincent de Paul. Teachers will begin to collect €2 from students  Monday 4th December onwards.

IGC Careers Fair

Our fifth year students spent a very informative afternoon at the Kerry IGC Careers Fair in MTU. The fair provided students with an opportunity to meet college representatives, career specialists and employers at a time when they are preparing to make their career choices.

Great trip to the European U21 qualifier between Ireland and Italy in Turners Cross. A superb atmosphere created by our fantastic students while seeing the next generation of stars in action. A great time had by all. @faischools

1st year girls had their first training session yesterday and it was a big success! The girls received expert guidance from Kathy Shaw, who has played for the Irish team. We’re looking forward to a great year of hockey ahead!
