Information Evening for Parents of Third Year Students

There will be a presentation for parents of Third and Transition year students on Thursday January 25th. Parents of Third Years are invited to attend at @7.30 to hear what our Transition Year program has to offer. This will be followed by a Subject Choice presentation which will begin at 8.15.

Our TYs and some 2nd years, accompanied by 6th class students from Scoil Mhuire, entertained the onlookers at Library Place on Wednesday afternoon. They sang their hearts out while raising valuable funds for the Palliative Care Unit in KUH. Well done to you all, you were super! Thanks to everyone who gave so generously on the day.

A super afternoon of entertainment in the school today at our annual Christmas Carol singing. Some great performances from an array of talented students making it a very festive occasion. Well done to all involved.
Leaving Cert Art Trip to Cork

Last Tuesday 6th year Art students had a wonderful trip to the Cork Printmakers studio as a part of their Visual Studies component of the course. Students had a tour of the studio, with a demonstration and trial of screen printing alongside artist Emma O’Hara. Students also got to visit art graduate exhibitions in the Lavitt Gallery and MTU gallery. An interesting and engaging day had by all!

Our TYs got a taste of life as a barista this week with the team from Dublin Barista School coming to town for three very educational & enjoyable days. They even got to open their own café serving free lattés, cappuccinos, mochas and all the rest prepared by our talented students!
School Closing
