Congratulations to 1st years Iarla O Donovan, Jack Gillespie and Daithi O Sullivan, who were part of the Killorglin AFC u-13 team that secured the Kerry league title to go along with their Munster Cup trophy this season. Well done lads!

Best of luck to ISK students Lachlan Scannell, 2nd year, and Diarmuid Riordan, 1st year, who are heading to the Kennedy cup in UL mid June as part of the Kerry soccer team. They have both represented the school teams very well all year. Best of luck lads!

Today, we congratulate our students who played crucial roles in winning the U14, U16, Minor, and Senior cups with the Kerry ladies teams! It is special to have each of these prestigious cups in our school at the same time, a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students. We wish them all the best in the upcoming All Ireland series. At The Intermediate School Killorglin, we are committed to promoting sport and nurturing our students' athletic potential. Congratulations to our footballers for their outstanding achievements!
Student Council Bake Sale '24

Today the student council hosted a bake sale to raise money for student council facility funding. They were very successful and raised €276. Thank you to everyone who took time to participate and stay tuned for updates on the student council over on their instagram page @isk_student_council

Earth Day in the Community Garden

Our TY students celebrated Earth Day and the Diocese of Kerry Youth Week with music and reflections in Killorglin Parish Garden. Our thanks to our students for their beautiful music and also to Sinead Geary and Declan Crowley.

Jewellery, Piercings etc

Students were reminded again on Friday that the wearing of jewellery, piercings, fake tan, make-up & fake eyelashes are not allowed in the school. Students wearing jewellery, piercings and fake eye lashes will be asked to remove them and then these will be stored safely in the school until the end of the term when they can be collected. Students wearing make up/fake tan will be provided with make up remover wipes and asked to remove it.
Last day of term for our first years

Our last day of term came about all too quickly for our First Year students. We marked this with plenty of fun and games at our end of year BBQ.
We would like to wish all our students happy holidays & look forward to welcoming them back in August.

Well done to Fia, Freya and Sadhbh who are rowing in the National Schools Regetta in London this weekend. They came 3rd in their time trial and now progress to the A Final. Best of luck girls!
