Please ensure your son has registered for CAO and has included his list of college course choices on his application form. In particular, please ensure that all restricted courses (Medicine, Film, Photography, Art and Music) are entered by the above date. This information records personal achievements in areas outside of classroom based assessment and will be reported on their Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement (JCPA). TY German Student Exchange Trip 2018

And we're off! 12 TY German students are travelling with their German Teacher Ms. Lonergan to Waldbreitbach in Germany for the school's annual exchange trip. They will be spending a week with the families of their exchange partners to be totally immersed in German language and culture. Of course they will also take in some of the sights and especially the Christmas markets in Köln and in Koblenz. Have a safe journey and lots of fun!
TY Talk - 'Donal Walsh Live Life Foundation'

Fionnbarr Walsh, father of Donal Walsh came in to speak to three of our Transition Year classes yesterday about his son Donal's life and his powerful legacy. He explained the work of 'The Donal Walsh Live Life Foundation'. The book 'Donal's Mountain' is a fantastic read. Fionnbarr will return next term to speak to the other TY classes.
Prefects 2018 - 2019

The team of prefects show great leadership through their involvement in various areas of school life. Their roles include running lunchtime activities, collecting for rag days, editing the school newsletter, supervising in the library and shop, arranging the lost and found and organising the sports gear.
Meitheal Leaders 2018 - 2019

The Meitheal leaders are doing fabulous work; organising social events for 1st Years and supporting their most junior peers. In August, the Meitheal team were involved in the transfer programme; working alongside form teachers to help 1st Years in their transition into secondary school. To date, they have organised a table quiz, a cinema trip and a sumo-wrestling competition for 1st Years, aswell as checking in regularly with their 1st Year form classes. The 1st Years can look forward to the Meitheal disco after Christmas!

Our Senior Footballers will progress to the knockout stages in January after wins over St.Aidans, Whitehall, Maynooth PP and Benildus in the Leinster A Post Primary Colleges Championship.
