Parental Access to VSWare
Created : 03 Sep 2020, 12:38 PM
Archived : 03 Nov 2020, 12:00 AM
Good morning Parents & Guardians,
We have had a number of queries over the past few days regarding access issues with VSWare. It is great to see so many of our parents & guardians up and running with VSWare. If you have not already gained access to your account please follow the instructions below to help guide you through the set-up process.
Just to clarify we have two systems running with the school, the school app and VSWare, both systems require different log-ins.
Our school app gives parents, guardians and students access to daily notifications, our live calendar, access to permission notes, absences, school fees, personal notifications from the school and VSWare.
VSware is our school records system which shows parents term reports, attendance and student timetables. You can access VSWare either via the app (please see image below) or by going to the school website www.naascbs.ie and clicking the VSWare icon on the home screen of the website.
Every parent/guardian has a unique username which is created by VSWare and was text to parents last year. Today I will re-send all VSWare usernames, for all year groups to parents & guardians. This will arrive to your phone via text. For those parents already accessing VSWare accounts with no issues please ignore this notification.
For parents that have been having issues accessing VSWare please click 'create or reset password' to gain access (see image below). Please enter the username that has been text to your phone today and enter the last 4 digits of your mobile phone (that the school has on record). An 8 digit code will be text to the parents/guardians phone to ensure the device is authentic to the parent. You will then be prompted to create your new password.
This issue with accessing VSWare appears to be creating a new password. Please follow the instructions for creating new passwords on the screen. Please ensure there is at least one capital letter, one number and one special character. An exclamation mark ! or question mark ? works well but full-stops are not accepted.
Please contact the school or VSWare on 01-5549628 if you have any further issues
Many thanks,
Sharon Power
