This week has once again shown the generosity of the Tarbert Comprehensive School community as donations for Concern, St. Vincent de Paul. and the Simon Community have been gathered by the students and their teachers.
€6,300 was collected for Concern by students, staff, parents and our friends in the wider community. LCA students collected warm clothes for the homeless and these were.donated to the Limerick Simon organisation. Transition year students collected food and organised a Christmas themed non uniform day for St. Vincent de Paul. Our school choirg gave of their time and visited local nursing homes to entertain residents for an afternoon. Fabiano Da Silva kicked off the Christmas spirit in the school by decorating the school Christmas tree. A huge congratulations and thank you to all involved for your generosity of time and gifts. We wish you all a peaceful Christmas and a happy New Year.

TY students would like to remind all that they will have their final round up for St. Vincent de Paul's food appeal tomorrow and Friday morning. The students will also run a Christmas themed non uniform day. They are asking students and teacher to wear their Christmas jumpers. There will be prizes for the best outfit and the best homemade outfit. Students are asked to contribute €2 on the day.

TY students are involved in the annual St. Vincent de Paul Christmas food appeal and are asking for your help. If you can donate some non perishable food they would be most grateful. Please ensure that all food items are non-perishable
Please ensure that all food items have an expiry date well into 2018. E.g. Tinned food,, cereals, sugar, tea some Christmas treats, biscuit etc. TYs will collect Monday to Thursday of this week. Thank you for your support.
