The Candidate Self Service Portal to allow Leaving Certificate candidates to confirm their subject and level entry details online and to indicate whether they want to take the examinations, or to receive SEC Accredited Grades, or both OPENS TODAY Wednesday 10 March at 12 noon and closes at 6 pm on Tuesday 16 March.
The Leaving Certificate Candidate Self Service Portal (CSSP) can be accessed at www.examinations.ie or www.gov.ie/LeavingCertificate. Click on ‘Leaving Certificate Candidate Self Service Portal (CSSP) 2021.
To assist Candidates the SEC has prepared a step by step ‘Before You Start Guide’ which is attached, and should be consulted before you commence the registration process on the Candidate Self Service Portal.

Patch is a 6 week long summer accelerator for aspiring future entrepreneurs, scientists, and engineers. Participants spend their time: Working on an ambitious project (2020 project’s here), Forming life-long connections with an energetic group of peers, Receiving 1:1 mentorship from experts in Stripe, Intercom, and Dogpatch Labs,
Learning from founders such as Des Traynor (Intercom), and Celine Halioua (Loyal).

MTU Empowering Women 2021 in celebration of International Women's Day - Monday, 8th March at 1.00 pm

The event is taking place Monday at 1.00 pm and registration is free on mtuempoweringwomen.ie We have four Inspirational speakers in the line-up including our new MTU President, Professor. Maggie Cusack who is the second woman ever to lead an Irish university in more than 400 years of history and the first woman appointed to lead a technological university. The event will also feature music from the MTU Cork School of Music, MTU IWD 2021 Ambassador/Role Model videos and messages of support from prominent, inspiring Irish women.
Career Path Expo 2021 on the 10th and 11th of March from 3 – 8pm.

A big thanks to everyone who entered the World Book Day Quiz yesterday, and well done on some very high scores. Five students got FULL MARKS and they were:

The winner of the Guess the Teacher Behind the Book competition was Ms A. O'Sullivan - well done, this one proved harder than we thought!!!
