Girls Rugby in the Comp

Kieran Reilly has been working with our Girls Rugby over the last number of weeks developing their skills and their love of the game. Over twenty of our students were out training every week and the numbers grew as the weeks went on. A huge thank you to Kieran, to his team and to the parents involved. Well done to the girls and we look forward to seeing your new skills on the playing field. The Girls were participating in the Give IT a Try rugby program. Most of the girls had never played rugby before and were delighted to experience a new team sport. They learnt the elements of rugby and most importantly about getting fit and healthy with their friends. All of this happened with the financial assistance of Kerry County Council Community Support Fund. Big thank you also to Listowel RFC who would delighted if the girls would join their club after this wonderful experience. Training times can be found on the club website.

Our boys' basketball teams kicked off the season today with a great start. Two wins for under 16 and under 19 boys against Dingle. Best of luck boys with the season ahead.
