CPC Leinster U/14 & U/16 Champions

Brilliant way to end the year for CPC with both our U/14 & U/16 team winning their respective Leinster titles. On Monday the U/14 team beat Ballymahon VS on a score line of 3-10 to 2-09. On Tuesday the U/16 team beat Clonaslee 4-15 to 4-09. Best of luck to all of our players with their club and county over the summer months. See you all in September for another great year with the school.

5th Year LCVP charity donations

The 5th Year LCVP students engaged in enterprise activities as part of Enterprise Week. Raffles, a cake sale & a cinema afternoon were organised and funds were raised. The charities chosen by the students to receive the donations are: · Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation · Epilepsy Ireland · Breast Cancer Ireland Thanks to those who contributed financially & well done to the students who organised the activities.

Congratulations to Izzy Reid and Jennifer Pearson who represented our school at the SEAI One Good Idea Competition at Dublin Castle last Tuesday. Many thanks to the supporters who attended the event on the day. A great day was had by all. Well done team.
Mental Health Talks

Thanks to Carmel and volunteers from Platinum Clubhouse, Newbridge who spoke with our TY students about promoting and maintaing positive mental health today. Each student received a green ribbon to wear and a bookmark stating the five ways to wellbeing.
2nd Year Community Art Project

2nd year art students completed a clay project based on the relationship between nature and people. The 3D Lego figures and birds were modelled by hand; each one reflecting their creative and technical skills. A huge thank you to James Nolan who supported the display in Nolan's shop window. Well done to all involved.

Transition years students recently participated in an art project to rejuvenate the school toilets. The project was supported by the Parents Associated and the hard work of the student council. Abstract lines painted onto the walls have given the space a new lease of life. Well done to all involved.
