Today, Friday - April 8th is Le Chéile Day.
The theme for this year's Le Chéile Day is “Unity in Diversity”. Today, staff and students of CPC, will celebrate inclusion, recognise diversity, applaud the empowerment and enabling of members of our school community.
We start our celebrations off this morning with our display in the hallway, created and designed by some of our senior students and by sharing the Le Chéile Prayer with you, our school community,

Huge congratulations to the 1st year boys basketball team who have just won the Midland final beating Dunlavin on a score line of 37 - 24.
The lads showed great grit and determination to build on a slow start and held an 8 point lead at half time.
They continued to work hard on defense in the second half and this proved to be the difference as they capitalized on these forced turnovers on offense.
The lads now step up a grade for next season.
Well done to the team and to coaches Ms. O'Malley & Mr. Wheeler on the day and thanks also to Mr. Walsh who has also played a part in getting this team to the final.

TY leadership students and some of their peers enjoyed a trip to KBowl on Tuesday. It was great to see the students bond as a group and enjoy the bowling activity, arcade games and lots of pizza! Most of the trip was funded by the students themselves through a venture which they ran earlier in the term. These students continue to show impressive initiative and leadership skills and the trip out was a well-deserved treat to celebrate their successful endeavours

Our junior camogie players got their North Leinster campaign off to a great start with a 6-6 to 1-0 win away to Dunamase College. The team was captained by Grace Sheridan from 2nd year and all twenty players involved did brilliantly. We will be at home to Kildare Town CS after the Easter break for our second league game. Keep up the great work girls!
