TY students enjoyed a great day at Zeminar where they listened to a variety of inspirational speakers, attended workshops, visited information stands for post leaving certificate options and clubs.

TY Equine Studies trip to RACE Academy, Kildare

TY Equine Studies students enjoyed a fascinating trip to the RACE Academy, Kildare Town recently. The students learned about the training jockeys receive, met some of the horses and even got an opportunity to test out their skills on the stimulator racehorse! Thanks to Mr Dowling for organising it.

RCSI TY Mini Med Programme

We have been fortunate to be selected by lottery to send one student to the RCSI TY Mini Med Programme 9th to 11th March 2020 inclusive.
Criteria
1. a genuine interest in Medicine
2. evidence of academic ability to attain the required standards
3. ability to work in a team.
If you are interested please submit an application to Ms Groome by 18th October.

LCA Coffee Morning in aid of P.A.T.H. raises €370

Well done to Nicole Duff, supported by her class, Ms Sabrina Mills and Ms Mairead O'Malley in leading a very successful coffee morning in aid of P.A.T.H
A delicious array of cakes were served beautifully along with tea and coffee. Lovely prizes were on offer for the raffle. It was a very enjoyable morning raising awareness and funds for this very worthy cause.
