Work is continuing to fully resolve the issue.

Extra-curricular sports are back up and running in CPC.
Our girls senior GAA team have represented our school with 2 group games in the last week. They unfortunately did not make it out of the group, thanks again to Ms. Murphy for all her work with the team over the years.
The 2nd Year Boys GAA team had their first game for the school this week and enjoyed a good win vs The Pres Carlow.
This Friday sees our Junior Boys GAA team play their first group game at home v Rathangan.
1st Year Boys GAA have started an internal blitz to get as many players playing the sport as possible, with county wide blitz to take place after the midterm.
Soccer has started back too with u15 girls training happening every Friday after school. Training for all other soccer teams will begin after the mid term break with the league starting back before Christmas.
Basketball training will also return after the mid term.
There are good numbers that want to get involved with rugby and they hope to be able to provide training and mini games in the school for all groups. Depending on numbers and team development etc we might look into playing a challenge game or two at the end of the year and look at entering competitions for the 2022/23 school year.
Camogie training has started after school on Wednesdays with a good sized cohort of students showing interest. We hope to build a team over the next few years that will be ready to compete in competitions. This year they will be working on skills and to get a few challenge games or blitzes played at the end of the year in an effort to promote the sport.
