• Thanks to everyone for all their cooperation and support to date and ensuring that all members of the school community have returned to school in a calm and measured fashion. • We feel a number of initiatives have been working really well. These include: ❖ Sanitising desks/chairs at beginning of class and at the beginning and the end of final class each day. ❖ Students going directly to class in the mornings. ❖ Movement along the corridors and the increased use of a variety of entrances/exits ❖ The staggered morning and lunch breaks. ❖ The layout of the classrooms and corridors in terms of increased space. ❖ The polycarbonate desk protectors. ❖ Teachers having doors open at beginning and end of class. We ask that everyone continues to reinforce these practices and continually reinforce HSE guidelines re handwashing, sanitising and wearing masks.

Dear Class of 2020, I hope this finds you and your families safe and well. As you are aware, the Department of Education and Skills will issue the results of the Calculated Grades process tomorrow Monday, 7th September. You will be able to access the results from 9 a.m. via the online portal that you used in June .I appreciate that, yet again, this is a change from the normal way of collecting them from the school, but it will ultimately be more efficient and private for everyone. We hope that you will all be happy with the grades you receive. However, should you need help, our Guidance Counsellor will be available to provide advice and support. In line with Covid-19 regulations, access to our building is now restricted and by appointment only. If you wish to request help or support, please ring the school office and your call will be returned as soon as it is possible to do so. It is important to note that teachers will not be in a position to share any information or data on the estimated marking or ranking process or outcomes with any person or under any circumstances. We kindly ask that you respect this, as all Leaving Certificate 2020 students will be provided with access to the appeal process from Monday, 14th September. Wishing you the very best of luck on Monday. We will be thinking of you all. Kind Regards, Denis Ring
