Our Sympathies to Mary McBride and family on the sad passing today of our Retired Colleague, Michael. Michael was an excellent teacher of Woodwork and Building Construction at BCS. He taught in the CBS & St. Anne's prior to our Amalgamation in 2003. He was a passionate member also of Lismore Parish , the Tidy Town's committee and West Waterford Soccer. May He Rest in Peace

Camogie training is cancelled tomorrow for all year groups. Reminder that there is a Senior Camogie game at home Tuesday at 11 against Pres Mitchelstown.

We’re asking all parents, staff and students to help our BCS ladies football teams to win a new set of jerseys and possibly €50,000. 

Download the Lidl Plus App & if you spend €40 or more in any Lidl at any stage between now and the 22nd Oct, then scan your Lidl Plus app to receive an LGFA stamp on your Lidl account. When you have collected a card of six stamps, hit submit and choose Blackwater Community School as your preferred school. 50 cards secures a new set of Lidl jerseys for BCS. Have you a copy of SIVE lying around at home.
Can we do a call out for donations of the play 'SIVE' . You may have them at home and be happy to donate them back to the school?
 
If  students could drop them into Katriona's office that would be great!

Could I ask all pupils to bring an empty plastic cup or beaker to class on Friday (your water bottle will also work). I’d like us to look at learning to perform the ‘Cups Song’ from Pitch Perfect 1. You can check it out if you have time this evening. Thanks!

Blitz tomorrow in Carriganor leaving school at 9.am please bring gear warm clothes for between games a packed lunch or money for lunch. Their will be shop and restaurant there. Please bring €3 for bus. We will be back in time for buses
