Over one week in to our enforced school closure and I’d like to thank everyone for their hard work in ensuring that some routine regarding study has been achieved. Thanks to the teachers for engaging with the students through a variety of online Distance Learning measures . Thanks to the students for taking up the challenge of responding to the work being provided and exercising great self discipline in maintaining a routine of study . Thanks to all parents for supporting this initiative and reinforcing the work being done by our teachers . We could be in this for a considerable amount of time yet . Therefore, it is important to keep the effort going . However, much more importantly, I hope everyone keeps safe and maintaining hand washing and social distancing. In this period of social distancing and enforced isolation, never has there been such a strong feeling of closeness and belonging to our families, our communities and our school. It is a truly difficult time for everyone but let’s help everybody as best we can . If you know of some school family especially in need of support, please let us know at BCS. Dear Parents/ Guardians, We are mindful that we have collected money re study and for an upcoming TY outdoor Education trip. We will work out the best way to reimburse parents for same once this crisis is resolved. Thanks for your continued support and cooperation at this difficult time . Today we received an email from educate.ie and they are give students free access to their ebooks.. We use a number of their school books so this might be useful to you to explore
