Laura won 1st prize in the Young Environmental Reporter of the Year competition. Congratulations to our TY students who were today presented with their Toastmasters certificates in the Ardilaun Hotel. This celebration was the culmination of the girls' hard work throughout the year and the development of not only their public speaking skills but also their confidence and communication skills. Special thanks was paid to Ms. McWalters who is the driving force behind Toastmasters in the school.
Lisa Keegan Wins Galway Junior Maths Competition

Congratulations to 1st Year student Lisa Keegan who won the regional final of the Irish Junior Maths Competition organised by the IMTA. Lisa was the overall winner out of 36 students from 17 schools from all over Galway county. Lisa is pictured below with her proud Maths teacher Ms. McGrath.

Congratulations to 3rd Year student Isabelle Gibbs who achieved qualifying time in the 100 meters backstroke. Isabelle will now go forward to the European Youth Festival which will be held in Hungary in July. We wish Isabelle every success.
