Welcome back to a new chapter in living with COVID.
With new changes in guidelines coming into effect on our return to school there will be some changes to COVID-19 procedures in the school while other procedures will remain the same.
The main two changes relate to:
1. Face coverings/mask wearing
2. Social distancing
All other guidelines remain in place.
CHANGES REMAIN THE SAME
Face coverings/mask wearing
· It is no longer a requirement for staff or
pupils/students to wear a face
covering/mask in school.
· Staff and student/pupils can continue to
wear a face covering/mask if they wish
to do so on a personal basis
Social distancing:
· Physical distancing is no longer a legal
requirement,
· Lockers are to be installed in some
rooms and corridors (mostly 1st and 2nd
year homerooms)
· Hand hygiene (washing and sanitising) · Correct respiratory hygiene · Improved ventilation · The layout of desks and pre-assigned seating in each classroom will remain the same (subject to further review) · One-way system will remain in place until June.
the public health advice is to self-isolate until 48 hours after symptoms resolve, with no PCR requirement.
Close contacts with no symptoms no longer need a test and public health advice is to self-isolate until 48 hours after symptoms resolve, with no PCR requirement.
