The Junior Rugby Team had a very busy few weeks in the last leg of the league.
On the 23rd November, Naas CBS Junior Rugby Team travelled to Rathgar to face The High School. The boys claimed victory over the opposition with a score of 46 - 0. A brilliant performance from the team in blue and yellow with a try from Alan Malone, Pádraic Dignam, Charlie Croke, Conor Marron and Tadhg Kruger. All their efforts landed the team at the top of the league table, making them undefeated in all their matches so far. The Naas side progressed to the semi-final of the league.
On the 30th November, Naas CBS were back in action against King’s Hospital. The opposition were hot favourites throughout the league. Both sides opened well with some great displays of technique and endurance. A try from Darragh Culligan and Tadhg Kruger kept the home side in the game. However, King’s Hospital began to pull away throughout the second half, resulting in a win.
We wish King’s Hospital all the best in the final of the league next week.

Hard luck to our U-16 Basketball Team who were narrowly defeated by St. Joseph's Secondary School, Rochfortbridge in the Midlands League Final. The lads performed really well and were leading in the fourth quarter. They were unlucky to lose on a scoreline of 53-50 in the end.
