National Parents Council Post Primary (NPCPP) Leaving Certificate Helpline 2020

Approximately 60,000 Leaving Certificate students will receive their Leaving Certificate results on Monday September 7th. We congratulate each and every one of them for the strength of character they have demonstrated whilst navigating the uncertainty caused by COVID-19. The National Parents Council Post Primary (NPCPP) Leaving Certificate Helpline 2020, staffed by qualified and experienced guidance counsellors will deliver one to one advice over the coming week as the results are released and the CAO offers issued. These guidance counsellors are members of the Institute of Guidance Counsellors (IGC). This is a critical time for the students and all their families when support is especially welcome. The NPCpp Helpline is a free and confidential support. The Helpline is manned by qualified, professional and very experienced guidance counsellors. To speak to a guidance counsellor call 1800 265 165. The Helpline will be available at the following times- Monday 7 September 2020 11am to 8pm Tuesday 8 September 2020 11am to 8pm Wednesday 9 September 2020 11am to 2pm Thursday 10 September 2020 11am to 2pm Friday 11 September 2020 12pm to 8pm Saturday 12 September 2020 11am to 5pm

LC2 students returning to school are advised to attend their Irish classes at 9:00am. Ms. Hogan - D2 Ms. Fitzgerald - D3 Ms. O'Sullivan - D8 Students exempt Irish - D8. LCA students - Maths in A3. All senior students will receive their welcome pack on arrival. Students will also be able to purchase their School journals @€10 from the school shop.

"The results are out. What now?" the booklet attached below and via the guidance page on the School Website covers all of the typical areas and because of the unusual circumstances arising as a result of COVID-19, the special arrangements for the class of 2020 are highlighted with a shaded box in the right hand margin and summarised on page 23 and 24.
