ESB Networks National Safety Challenge

Congratulations to Aine Enright, Siun Walsh, Grace Ryan and Darragh Toomey-Keane who took part in the ESB National Safety Challenge.
Although not being successful in the National Competition their innovative safety ideas and hard work were acknowledged by the ESB through the award of a certificate.

Fabiano wins An Post Handwriting Award

Congratulations to Fabiano da Silva on winning a handwriting award from An Post. Fabiano travelled to Dublin last week with his family and Ms. Dillon to collect the award and €500 in prize money for the school. It was a great achievement as Fabiano was chosen for his skills above students from all over the country. Thank you to Ms. Mullane for encouraging Fabiano to enter the competition and to Ms. Dillon for travelling with him on the day.
LC1 Ecology Trip

62 fifth year students went to the Killarney National Park on Monday to complete their ecology field trip as part of their Biology course. They were lucky with the day as the sun shone on them as they completed the field trip. and were complimented by the group leaders for the attention given and their politeness. Well done to all and a thank you to Ms. Fitzgerald, Ms. Barrett and Ms. Mulvihill for organising the trip.
