Author Ann Lane, took time to speak with 6th year students studying art, about how her love of public art lead to the publication of her first book 'By the Wayside: A Selection of Public Art in Ireland'. Former personal assistant to Mary Robinson and three Attorneys General, David Byrne, Michael McDowell and the late Rory Brady, is in the process of publishing her second book. Ann also met with local sculptor and former art teacher Noel Scullion, to include his sculptures in her new book. Her dedication to public art is a relevant topic for 6th years art history Leaving Certificate exam. A huge thank you Ann for taking the time to visit.
