Training tomorrow (Friday 5th) at lunchtime on the AstroTurf for all under 14 hurlers from 1st and 2nd year. There will also be training next Tuesday 9th from 15:45-16:30.

TY HIKE FRIDAY 28 SEPTEMBER

All TY students are expected to participate in the hike this Friday as it is one of the activities required in order to attain the Gaisce Bronze Medal award. Students will need to be at the school for 7.55am on Friday morning. The hike is twelve kilometres in the Knockmealdowns and students should take note of the instructions below: 1) Have a good breakfast. 2) Wear a light water/wind resistant jacket and walking boots if you have them. Wear a base layer if you have one. Bring a backpack with two straps. The day will start out cold but as the walk progresses it will get a lot warmer. 3) DO NOT WEAR denims, ankle socks or canvas runners and do not bring a single strap backpack. 4) Bring water, at least two litres (fizzy drinks cause dehydration). Bring food- sandwiches, snacks etc. Bring spare socks and a hat
