Caroline Kenny, a 14 year old, second-year student at Blackwater Community School. Caroline and her mum Breda are away from home this Christmas as Caroline is currently undergoing treatment for a brain tumour in Essen, Germany. We want to raise funds for the Foundation that has been such a help to the family on this journey.

Can students/parents please fill out the attached survey for a student's BT Young Scientist project, it will only take a minute or two and it would be much appreciated. Can all responses be submitted before Wednesday the 13th of December.
Dear Parent/Guardian
We would like to wish our u17 hurlers the very best in the Munster Final tomorrow in Pairc Ui Chaoimh. We are delighted to be able to facilitate supporters travelling to the match and remind students that they need to wear their PE uniform. If any student is travelling independently with their family they need to be signed out by their parent/guardian in the main office. Also we wish to remind students that our code of conduct/behaviour applies for all school related events.
The Student Voice in BCS is organising a collection of non perishable items to donate to the local SVP who do great work in the area. Items can include: pasta, rice, canned fruit, beans, peas, soups, gravy, sauces, biscuits, chocolates and crisps etc. Thank you so much for your support in this wonderful initiative by our Student Voice Group.
