It's been an extremely busy week of Waterford Camogie, Ladies Football, Hurling and Gaelic Football for many students and staff and this weekend continues more of the same.. Good luck to those involved with minor hurling this evening and Gaelic Football, Hurling, Ladies Football and Camogie over the weekend.

Our Erasmus Visitors from Praque left today after 4 days at BCS. This was part of the Erasmus programme introduced by Mrs Maria O’ Brien and coordinated by Miss Danielle Murphy. Today they received presentations from Mrs O’ Brien to mark the occasion of their time at BCS with our students.

Autism Acceptance Month

April is Autism Acceptance Month, a time to raise awareness about autism and promote acceptance, inclusion and understanding of individuals on the autism spectrum. This month encourages communities and schools such as BCS  to embrace neurodiversity, support autistic individuals and work towards breaking down barriers that hinder their participation in schools and society. Help us celebrate the unique strengths and contributions of people with autism while fostering empathy and respect.

St Coleman's Debating Competition

Congratulations to the BCS debating team who participated in the St Coleman’s Debating Competition in Fermoy on the 1st of April. 

 
Brian Morris, Alannah Martin, Sarah Carey and Kevin Hennessy performed exceptionally and won both their debates against Coláiste Dún Iascaigh and Cashel Community School. 
 
The debate team have been preparing hard for this competition and it is great to see their hard work and dedication pay off.
