Well done to Mia Quilty and Grace Hornibrook 1st year students, who have qualified for the final of Grow to CEO. This is a fantastic achievement for Mia and Grace who were competing against Transition year students from schools across Ireland. Grow it yourself have teamed up with Cully & Sully to create the Grow to CEO campaign to foster a spirit of food entrepreneurship in secondary schools. The girls will compete against 5 other schools in the grand finale on Thursday.

A huge congratulations to our Green Schools Committee who have been certified with an award for completing the Neat Street Programme in conjunction with An Taisce. this is a great achievement for our committee and this programme is a foundation and a launch pad towards our first Green Flag

In an effort tor educe the amount of plastic in our school we have installed a water filter system in the 3rd year area. this delivers fresh filtered drinking water and we are encouraging all students to bring reusable refillable bottles to school to replace single use disposable bottles.

Our brand new water filter is set up in BCS. It is located in the 3rd yr area and delivers fresh, chilled and filtered water! Bring in your reusable water bottles and join our plan to eliminate single use plastic in our school. Congratulations to joint winners of our poster competition Jack Schurmaan and Michaela Prendergast who won reusable bottles for their year 1C. Well done Jack and Michaela! Congratulations also to Lorraine O'Brien of 1E who also received a reusable bottle for her poster which placed 2nd in our competition. We expect to see you guys leading the way and encourage everyone to bring their reusable water bottle to school from now on.
