Congratulations to our u16 hurlers who beat Ring yesterday in tough conditions in Old Parish 2-9 to 1-9. Ballyduffs Cathal Murphy chipped in with 2-5, with Jamie O’Keeffe, Liam Coughlan and Eoin O’Brien we’re also impressive.

We had a great week on out Green Action Week.. today senior classes completed the bug hotel and students who brought in electrical goods and batteries were in a draw for lots of great prizes.. well done to all on the great work accomplished

Athletics training tomorrow Thursday after school. Track and field season is approaching so focus from now on will be in these events. If anyone wants to try javelin, shot putt, high jump, long jump, sprints and relays please come along. Make sure you bring runners as we may be indoors depending on weather. Also the very best of luck to our athletes who have qualified for the All Ireland Cross Country which will take place this weekend in Kildare.

On Monday we welcomed Sean, Brid and Nora from Lismore Tidy Towns and gave a wonderful presentation to first years about plastic pollution and what we as individuals can do about it.
It was a great way to start out Green Schools Action Week
