Yesterday afternoon, our Junior debating team travelled to Limerick to take part in round 3 of Gael Linn’s Irish debating competition. They spoke against the motion, School days are the best days of our lives.
The boys face tough competition from Glenstal Abbey and Presentation Secondary School Listowel. The team gave an outstanding performance, and we’re thrilled to announce that they have qualified for the Regional Finals in May.

Today, the staff of ISK wore blue in support of World Autism Day. Blue, a colour symbolising calmness and acceptance, is the primary colour designated for autism awareness. By wearing blue, we stand in solidarity with the autism community, promoting understanding, inclusion, and support for all.

The pupils of ISK had a fantastic afternoon dancing the Siege of Ennis and raising funds and awareness for Epilepsy. It was a spectacular sight to see the entire school—pupils and staff—dancing together on the hockey pitch, with the McGillycuddy Reeks as our stunning backdrop. The weather was glorious, the atmosphere was incredible, and the joy was evident in every step. A huge thank you to our talented trad group, whose music made the event even more special. A wonderful day for a great cause!

Our 3rd Years had an absolutely fantastic time today at West Cork Secret Adventure Centre. It was an action-packed, fun-filled day, made even more special as all of our 3rd Years got to experience this adventure together—a first for us at this incredible venue.
Muddy challenges, thrilling activities, assault courses, go karts, team games, water slides, orienteering and pizza made for a great day out in the sun. Thanks to Finbarr and all his team for having us!!! West Cork Secret certainly did not disappoint!
A huge thank you also to our year heads, Mr. Creedon & Iníon Ní Scanláin, and to everyone who helped make today such a success. We can’t wait for the next adventure!
