Dear Parents and Guardians We have been advised that there is a free webinar taking place this Thursday the 11th of November at 7pm called 'The Importance of Sleep for our Teenagers'. Transition Year students recently took part in a nature themed scavenger hunt. They were tasked with finding a variety of items including something round, smooth, straight and rough.

Space Week at Sion Hill

This week, the STEM Committee organised a number of activities to mark Space Week. Space Week is the largest annual space event in the world. It celebrates the achievements of scientists in astronomy and aims to get more people involved in the study of space. Posters around the school highlighted women in STEM who have helped develop our knowledge on space and interesting 'space facts' were shared daily. There were also some space and astronaut videos shown in the school. To find out more about space week, visit www.worldspaceweek.org/
