So proud of these girls as they battled the conditions to overcome St. Angela’s, Cork in the most dramatic of Munster Senior Cup games at the UCC Mardyke. Leading 2-1 (after goals from captain Fiadh Colleran and Ailbhe Shanley) with only a minute left, we conceded to send it to shuttles (penalties). We didn’t drop our heads even after missing our first 2! Instead Caoimhe Ní Mhurchú and Fiadh settled our nerves, and our goalie Emma Power sent us through, as she saved the last shot

Margo Noonan, a clinical health nurse specialist in sexual assault forensic examination at S.A.T.U South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital Cork, visited our school today. She spoke for 2 hours to all TY students and gave a very comprehensive and informative presentation, one of the topics discussed was consent.
