Transition Year
TY students putting up the Jesse Tree in St Monica’s Church. The Jesse Tree is a decorative tree used during Advent to retell the stories of the Bible that lead to Jesus’s birth. Since Advent is a season of waiting, a Jesse Tree will help to build joy and anticipation as we wait for Christmas.

We have set up a Go Fund Me page in memory of our former classmate Rian French and all of the money made will be going to the Irish Cancer Society. Emma Power, Onelia Whelan and Chloe Mulcahy will be completing 900,000 steps in the month of December. We are aiming to raise €1000. We would love if people could give what they can to the cause and spread the word. Many thanks to Ella Ryan from Waterford County Council for joining us via Zoom this morning. She presented a workshop on recycling and waste prevention by using Beeswax Wraps! TY3 students enjoyed the demo and many are hoping to make them at home.

Transition Year
Great effort by TY3 students during their Business Module in Rotation 2. Students choose an entrepreneur and completed a project on them. Their project will be hanging in Ms McGann’s room so 1st years can enjoy learning about entrepreneur’s in their lunch time pod.

Heidi and Keavy painted the windows in the front porch of Carechoice Nursing home today. Bringing some Christmas cheer to the residents. Ms Coffey advised them on what paint to use. Good work ladies. Always nice to give back to our local community
Driving Instruction Workshop

Today TY4 enjoyed a fun day about all things Driving. They got the opportunity to change a wheel, drive around the school grounds with an instructor, wear beer goggles showing the effects of alcohol on vision and they prepared for the theory test.
