5th year students attended the Ceiliúradh na nÓg celebration in the Brandon Hotel in Tralee today. They presented a project on Lent and attended workshops on spirituality and faith development. Bishop Ray Brown spoke about conservation of the Environment and he presented awards to the students. Fr Philip Mulryne, a former Manchester United football player was the keynote speaker. The ISK students made a valuable contribution to the celebration and a great day was had by all.

Congratulations to two of our Junk Kouture teams who have made it through to the Regional Finals! Blooming Brutality - Robyn Landers, Sarah Lynch and Holly O’Sullivan Queen of Hearts - Ella Gamble O’Sullivan, Rebecca Purcell and Jake Waterman A well done also to our third group Florence who put in a great effort throughout the whole design and creation process too! We wish our teams the best of luck in tomorrows digital Regional Final!

Reminder to parents and students of the upcoming table quiz  on March 25th! Organised by the Parents Association this promises to be a great night for young and old to work those brain cells! Starting at 8pm in Killorglin Golf Club who are generously providing finger food, tables of 4 are €40 for adults and €20 for students and there will also be a raffle on the night, see you there!!!

The Parents Association are organising a family quiz night on Saturday March 25th, and would be very grateful if any parent could donate a 
prize either for the quiz itself and/or the raffle.  Students can bring prizes into the school office.

South Kerry Development Partnership in collaboration with Jigsaw Kerry are offering a free workshop for parents on ‘Supporting Young Peoples Mental Health’. The workshop will be held online via zoom on March 13th from 7 to 8.30pm. Learn Strategies and tools to promote and support young people’s mental health, information on Jigsaw Kerry and other services available to support young people and you as a parent, carer or guardian.
