3rd Year Junior Cycle English Classroom Assessment will take place this Wednesday, 2pm

The Classroom Assessment, based largely on student own collection of texts, and a compulsory component of the Junior Cycle for all students, will take place this Wednesday Between 2pm and 4pm. It is worth 10% of the JC English grade. All students must be in attendance! Students must bring with them their “100 words”, which is an extract taken from their favourite passage of writing. No other materials are permitted to be taken into the assessment task.
Night Study will not take place on Monday 10th December, as St. Michael’s College is closed.

Well done to Daniel Sheehan on receiving the UCC entrance scholarship. This was awarded to all new students who scored top marks in their Leaving Certificate, and it recognises their diligence and hard work at their studies. University College Cork’s President Prof. Patrick O’Shea pressnted the award. Mr. Mulvihill also received a plaque for the school.
