Blackwater Community School intends to purchase a school licence so that all students can have access to STUDYCLIX which is a valuable online study resource for all students, It covers all subjects for Junior Cert and Leaving Cert topic by topic with past exam questions and answers. it also has loads of additional resources on all topics. it normally costs €35. Exam students are asked to bring in €5 to Mrs O Brien or Mrs Mc Craith to help cover the cost of the licence.

ATTENTION ALL TRAD MUSICIANS Practice session Friday at 1:15, bring instruments along. Musicians needed for Open Night Oct 2nd. CHOIR Choir practice will be on tomorrow (Thursday) at 1:25 in the demo room.

Bus to the ploughing will leave at 6.20 am on Tuesday 19th September from BCS. Transition Year students travelling are asked to check the list on the door of room 13 tomorrow. Weather is supposed to be dry but there is a chance of showers so a change of clothes would be recommended. We intend to be home for 7pm.

JUNK KOUTURE: A workshop will take place on Monday for all students who have presented competition proposals to Ms Leahy. This will take place on Monday 18th from 11.05-1.05 in the monastery part of the school. Please bring in all gathered materials for manipulation. WORK EXPERIENCE: If any of your work experiences in November or March involve working with children or the elderly, you must inform Ms Nevin, Work Experience Coordinator, by Monday 18th September. TRIP TO PLOUGHING CHAMPIONSHIPS: Due to the large numbers travelling to this event on Tuesday 19th, there will be no classes for any TY students not going and you are asked to remain at home.
