Sad passing of Brendan Mc Grath RIP Posted : 08 July 2024

With great sadness, we learned of the passing of our dear friend and former student, Brendan McGrath. Brendan was the beloved husband of our esteemed former colleague, Dayna, and a devoted father to Tadhg and Finn. He will be sorely missed by our entire community.

Brendan was deeply involved in many aspects of community life, most notably his beloved Easkey GAA. He generously dedicated his time to train underage teams, instilling his profound love of sport in others. Countless students have been inspired by Brendan in so many ways. We fondly remember his numerous visits to our school following cup victories, where his inspirational speeches about success left a lasting impact on our students.

In his professional career, Brendan made significant contributions to our school on many occasions. He was a true professional, quietly and unassumingly going about his work. We have truly lost a gentleman of great character and integrity.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
